Hi there! My name is Sara Hanson Burley, and I am the artist/owner of Imaginary Friends and Blissful Babies Nursery, or IFABB Nursery.

I am married to a wonderful man, who totally supports my hobby! I have four, gorgeous children, all grown up now, 11 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren! Not bad for a 30 year old woman! (Just kidding!)

I have been making these lifelike babies since 2006, when I accidentally stumbled onto an Ebay auction of a reborn baby. Now that I am retired (from teaching elementary school), I have much more time to devote to my art.

Before discovering reborns, I had been making porcelain dolls for many years, and, at first sight of them, resented the art of reborning, even though I admired the beautiful babies. Than said, and being the person that I am, I decided I could make babies own my own and immediately bought a kit from Bountiful Baby,  that included everything needed, to make my first baby. "Avery" turned out to be pretty cute, and fairly realistic,and after that, I was totally hooked on this hobby!  I still love making these dolls! I have babies "living" all over the world, and can not even begin to count how many I have done in total.
